It has been sometime since we have seen a jailbreak. And it’s starting to look like we could not see one till iOS 9 or the next release of a stable public ios. 

There has been reports of rootless technology in iOS 9. What this is meant to do is help prevent a Jailbreak. The cat and mouse game between Jailbreakers and Apple has been going on for years. It is true that some firmware shave not been Jailbreakable. But I would never count ios 9 unjailbreakable till its out and the devs start looking at it.
