Looks like today’s Cydia update for the TaiG Untether has been pulled by Saurik. He stated on reddit 

OK, so this is a pretty serious issue: the new patch that TaiG built just doesn’t work :/. I wish they would calm down and let me do this correctly. I’ve pulled their update.

So if you updated to 2.2.1 and your device works then you should count yourself as lucky. Right now I am currently on the 2.2.1 Untether of TaiG. And my device is working fine. The 2.2.1 update included setreuid patch to prevent applications from obtaining root privileges through setreuid, Saurik stated that this was unsafe. 

So right now it’s best to hold off on any update posted by TaiG till its cleared as safe by Saurik.
