From what I have read it looks like some people have had problems with SemiRestore blocking pirated repos. @Coolstarorg has posted a explanation on reddit about this. He said this feature was meant to be removed in the public release, and was just a human error. Also that he has pushed a new version of SemiRestore out to fix this problem. I feel that this is the truth and he would have no reason to lie he is a trusted dev in my opinion. So you can take that for what it’s worth.
