This is one reason I love jailbreaking your device. It is so simple for a patch to be made and distributed to all devices that may need it. 

The tweak IneffectivePower is to patch for the EffectivePower bug that if your device revived a line of code via message it would crash your device once the code was displayed in the Notification banner. 

So if your worried about the bug make sure to install the patch IneffectivePower in Cydia.
