Microsoft is venturing in a whole lot of applications for daily use, and some of them will feature facial recognition software. In an attempt to demonstrate to the public how it works, Microsoft released How-Old.net, a website that tries to guess your age by simply uploading a front facing picture (or popularly, a Selfie). I have tried this with my own pictures and out of 10 times, 8 were right. I also tried it with my family, and the results were hilarious: for example, my Aunt is 42, but this website says she’s 58 (can’t stop laughing). She was offended.
