BitTorrent has released a peer-to-peer messenger service called Bleep.

Bleep works with an encrypting system that deletes the message or picture sent upon reading it. However, it doesn’t prevent screen captures. 

All in all, Bleep sounds like a good messaging service, hopefully in the future they figure out a way to completely encrypt messages.
