Well it looks like Apple wants to really shorten the options when it comes to both being current with updates and stopping jailbreaks. As of Feb 7th, Apple has stopped signing iOS 9.2, making iOS 9.2.1 the only version officially supported by them.

If you are jailbroken still, be very careful with what you do with your phone as it could potentially cause you to have to restore and 9.2.1 as you all know is not jailbroken yet.
